The St. Augustine Lighthouse is located on Anastasia Island, near St. Augustine Florida.

 

 

Lighthouse facts:
  • The tower was built in 1874.
  • The tower is painted with barber pole stripes to better identify it during the day.
  • The current optic is a first order Fresnel lens installed.
  • There is a jetty made of conquina to stop erosion.
  • The lighthouse is 165 ft high.
